Here are some of our favourite photos from this family photoshoot – it was really difficult to choose, as there were so many beautiful photos. The photoshoot was such fun, as we’d allowed time for the girls to play, relax and to be themselves.

Beautiful indoor brother and sister portraits
Posted onWhen we use a studio we can make the background look a super cool white, like in these beautiful photos (though of course that’s not the only colour). We run a professional mobile studio, so we can bring it direct to your home, if you have the space, or to any other indoor venue.

Family Christmas portraits
Posted onAs Christmas gets closer many parents love to have family Christmas photoshoots – usually so that they can create a set of family Christmas cards. However, many are also wanting to create family albums at this time of the year to remember what their children were like at that stage in their lives.
Sisters together
Posted onRural locations are great for family photoshoots, because everyone can be themselves without worrying about other people. It also means you can get really lovely green backgrounds, like these here, which makes these sisters look great.
Loving photos of this young boy with his parents
Posted onWith all families you get to see lots of love and affection on display and this one was no exception. We wanted to capture that beautiful family love in these photos, where you can see this young boy showing his love for each of his parents.
Very young children, like this young lad, have super short attention spans. The only way we were able to get these lovely photos was by letting him run around and have lots of fun in-between the ‘proper’ photos, as you can see from this ‘time to play at a photoshoot‘ post.
Time to play at a photoshoot
Posted onThis young boy was like all boys of his age – loads and loads of energy. So we put his energy to good use and sent him off on various tasks around the park, near to where we were doing our rural family photoshoot. That way it kept him from getting bored and allowed him to run around. This meant we were able to create some loving photos of this young boy with his parents later on.
Summer family photoshoot in the park
Posted onMore photos from our family photoshoot in the park during the summer. Some of these were our ideas, whilst some were the daughter’s ideas – we always try to encourage children to give us their suggestions, as it makes them feel really valued, which does wonders for their self-esteem, as well as keeping their attention.
A beautiful family photoshoot in the summer
Posted onOn a summer’s evening in the park, with some natural green backgrounds, we had a lovely family photoshoot of this young lady and her parents, which looked great in beautiful wall art.
As usual, we find we can only create this lovely memories after allowing children to have time to play – she was at the age where she was happy to try lots of things, as you can see from our other blog post – Acrobatics in the park.
Acrobatics in the park
Posted onAt this family photoshoot in the park we let this confident young lady dictate a lot of what we were doing – this included showing us the various things gymnastics things she could do…
Our approach paid off, because this kept her engaged for long enough that we were able to get some great family portraits afterwards, as you can see in this other post – A beautiful family photoshoot in the summer.
Many family photos are worth doing twice
Posted on…especially if it gets the kids really involved and enjoying themselves more, as it often means the ‘better’ photos will look more natural, because your children feel more relaxed (and the funny versions are great for a family photo album).
