In this photoshoot no outfit ‘changing’ was required, as this woman’s ‘base layer’ of black remained the same – instead, she brought along a blue jacket, a black jacket and a red top. We combined these with a few different backgrounds and very quickly we created a great mix of different looks for her portfolio.
Woman blog posts
Portraits of a dancer
Posted onGraceful poses of a dancer in an urban environment. We tried a number of different outfits and dance poses in this London street against a black-painted brick wall to show off her delicate dance moves.
Female musician photoshoot
Posted onThis was a photoshoot of someone who was a musican and singer who wanted a range of photos for her portolio. She was wearing a bright yellow outfit, so we felt the best thing was to find somewhere equally as bright to create a really eye-catching portrait. We added the super cool sunglasses, plus the cigarette to given this a cool look that worked really well.
Having a laugh during a couples photoshoot
Posted onOnce we’d finished the main photos with this couple, we thought we’d have some fun. We started with a running jump, which wasn’t quite as successful as we’d hoped, but it was such a laugh by the time we’d finished. We then moved onto a piggy back, then finally a loving photo to finish off.
Marilyn Monroe-inspired photoshoot
Posted onThis stylish dress was hand-made by this woman’s mother, who used to wear it when she was younger. We used this outfit for an elegant Marilyn Monroe-inspired photoshoot, followed by some casual clothes for a more informal style later on.
Summer photoshoot of a young couple
Posted onOn a summer’s evening, with the sun low in the sky, we had some great fun on this outdoor photoshoot of a young couple in the park. As usual we spent most of the time creating a range of great photos of the two of them together. But once we’d finished we then did some solo portraits of each of them.
Husband and wife photoshoot
Posted onPlaying with some ideas for different photos whilst on a photoshoot in the park. Both of their hands forming love hearts, then both walking along together with heart-shaped hands, then finally with ‘kissing’ mobile phones.
Stylish in the park
Posted onThis model wanted a range of portraits for her portfolio, so we chose a rural location for her photoshoot, which worked as a great contrast to her bright, stylish outfits.
Railway arches
Posted onIt wasn’t easy to get access to this area, but once we did, these beautiful Victorian brick railway arches offered such a fabulous backdrop for this fashion-focussed female photoshoot.
Urban and rural locations
Posted onThere are very few places where you can use both urban and rural locations during the same photoshoot, as most aren’t near enough to each other. However, in east London we found an area where we had some natural green backgrounds, as well as a few different urban backgrounds that allowed us to really complement this woman’s hair and clothing.
