Posted onAn old public gardens in a local park gave us a great range of different places that we could visit to get a set of varied photos for this female location photoshoot in the middle of winter.
Urban and rural in a single photoshoot
Posted onIn the middle photo we went for a casual look in the grimy alleyway to give us a modern and gritty look. However, for the others we went for the opposite look with some elegant clothes and more gentle backgrounds to make the tone a lot softer.

At Christmas there’s nothing more complicated and natural than getting a young child to hold a set of Christmas fairy lights. As she was playing with the lights, they gave a lovely glow on her face, so by the end we had a great photo that went on the cover of their family Christmas cards.
Christmas studio portrait
Posted onChristmas is coming and it’s time to get the family Christmas cards printed, so time for a fabulous studio portrait session to get a range of great festive photos for the family and friends to see. Amazing how a Santa’s hat and some tinsel adds that festive touch. We encouraged this young lady to bring along her favourite teddy on this occasion, as it allowed her to dress him up and offer us even more lovely family photos of her having a lovely relaxing time.
Little Miss Santa
Posted onUse a Santa fancy dress costume for a toddler at Christmas and you can be sure the occasion will not be a quiet one. However, it was great fun as everyone was filled with festive spirit. These photos went on to become a family Christmas card for friends and relatives.
