Toddler studio portrait session
Posted onToddlers love having things to play with – this time we used some red balls, which proved a big hit, as they kept her attention for a long time. Of course, her teddy came along to help out too, which looks so sweet. These would look fabulous in black frames hanging on a wall.

Newborn baby fast asleep
Posted onWhile many people like photos with their baby’s eyes open, the photos can look so lovely when the baby is content and fast asleep, looking so calm, without a care in the world.
Baby’s tiny hands and feet
Posted onThere’s something so adorable about a baby’s little fingers, hands and feet – they’re just so tiny. Babies grow into toddlers so quickly, almost without us noticing, so we love to take close-up photos of their tiny, cute and gorgeous hands and feet to remember just how small and adorable they were.
It also helps to have an adult’s hand in some photos, to show just how small the baby’s hands really are – in the middle photo this baby is holding onto her dad’s finger, so you can see just how small hers are in comparison.
Happy newborn baby
Posted onThis baby had been fed and recently woken from a nap, so she was happy and very alert, looking at everyone around her. These indoor baby photos therefore worked really well.

Newborn baby portrait photos
Posted onReally young babies don’t do much, other than lie around and stare at people when they’re awake, so it’s important to get photos of them doing this really well. In both of these photos you can see the beautiful eyes as she’s looking at her mum nearby. We’ve used appealing backgrounds in both to add some variety.
Tiny sleeping newborn baby
Posted onWhen you want to do a baby photoshoot you’ll no doubt ask yourselves at some stage “would the photos our newborn baby be better with him or her awake or asleep?” To be honest it doesn’t really matter which, as it all depends on ‘the look’ of the photos you’re after. As long as a baby is warm and fed, they’ll look great awake or asleep – it just takes a little planning on getting them fed and slept at the right time.
Sleeping newborn baby
Posted onOnly one day old, this sleeping newborn baby looked so peaceful and content in a world of her own. The natural light from the window looks looks lovely and gentle in showing how peaceful she looks.
