Within a small area in east London we found several urban locations, plus a nearby local park which gave us some natural green backgrounds. A change of clothes added to the variety of the range of portraits we ere able to create.

Beautiful portrait photos of a young girl
Posted onIn a single photoshoot, with a change of clothes, a jacket and a coat – we were able to create a wide variety of wallart for this mum and her daughter. We always suggest that if you can, please bring along a spare outfit, or an extra coat or jacket (or both, as was the case in this photoshoot). That way we can make a single photoshoot look like two or more photoshoots.
We like to encourage a fun photoshoot
Posted onIf you’ve seen our Beautiful portrait photos of a young girl post, then you’ll have seen how great those photos are – they’re beautiful wall art to display around their home. But to do this we encouraged this young lady to lark about as much as possible in between the ‘proper’ photos. We always find that doing this allows children to trust us a lot more, as they know they can be themselves.
Here are some examples of what we mean. These photos are great in a fabulous album, which the family can look at for years to come as their daughter grows older, as they really show off her fun personality.
Jumping Jane
Posted onWe love it when we work with people who are game for giving things a try, as was the case here. This photo was taken during the middle of the day, but we deliberately played with the lighting to make it look like night-time, to add a lot of drama to this energetic and stylish photo.
Sisters together
Posted onRural locations are great for family photoshoots, because everyone can be themselves without worrying about other people. It also means you can get really lovely green backgrounds, like these here, which makes these sisters look great.
Two brothers in the park
Posted onSometimes a simple portrait with a blurred background is the best, like these photos here. Both brothers were wearing casual blue shirts, so these worked really well against the blurred green backgrounds from the park which means, when their mum and dad look at these photos, they’ll concentrate on the faces of their sons, rather than looking at the background.
Evening couples photoshoot
Posted onIn this photoshoot we created a large set of photos of this couple together, as well as some lovely portraits of each of them individually.
A mix of jackets and tops
Posted onIn this photoshoot no outfit ‘changing’ was required, as this woman’s ‘base layer’ of black remained the same – instead, she brought along a blue jacket, a black jacket and a red top. We combined these with a few different backgrounds and very quickly we created a great mix of different looks for her portfolio.
Loving photos of this young boy with his parents
Posted onWith all families you get to see lots of love and affection on display and this one was no exception. We wanted to capture that beautiful family love in these photos, where you can see this young boy showing his love for each of his parents.
Very young children, like this young lad, have super short attention spans. The only way we were able to get these lovely photos was by letting him run around and have lots of fun in-between the ‘proper’ photos, as you can see from this ‘time to play at a photoshoot‘ post.
Time to play at a photoshoot
Posted onThis young boy was like all boys of his age – loads and loads of energy. So we put his energy to good use and sent him off on various tasks around the park, near to where we were doing our rural family photoshoot. That way it kept him from getting bored and allowed him to run around. This meant we were able to create some loving photos of this young boy with his parents later on.
